Twelve persons from the Three Rivers District representing 7 different churches recently went to Nashville, TN to help in the UMCOR efforts of repairing people's homes from the May flooding. The team worked on a lady's home who had been devastated and gutted after the flood. Despite the 100+ degree weather everyday, the team was able to get a lot accomplished: installing doors, windows, hauling drywall, insulation, installing ceiling wall, shingling a roof and building a chimney. The intergenerational team worked together wonderfully and it was a rewarding and growing experience.
