Almost 50 clergy, spouses, family members and retired clergy families enjoyed a scenic boat ride down the Muskingum river recently as the treat of district superintendent, Jim Humphrey. No Indians or river pirates attacked our boat during the beautiful night on the Lorena Sternwheeler. We were thrilled to have on board Rev. Elliott Bush who was able to climb the steps to the upper deck without a problem. Rev. Bush gave thanks and praise for all the support he received as he recovered from the head-on car accident last January. Greetings were specially given to new clergy families on our district.

Following the boat ride as we sang some river songs down the river, the clergy families went to the Adamsville United Methodist Church for a delicious dinner that was prepared by Diane Hatfield and her crew.
